PROGRAM
There are 6 proposed towers, with each consisting of a basement level, ground level and 16 levels of residential units. Amenities such as pool services, gym, nursery, and recreation rooms will be located on Level 1. Commercial and Retail spaces will be located at the podium levels with access to the parking and pedestrian paths along the streets and canal.
RESIDENTIAL
Residential units are distributed along the ground floor and primarily throughout the towers from level 1 through level 16. The towers will afford the users' views to the ocean, canal, and the park across the canal. The apartment types range from Studios, 1 Bedroom, and 2 Bedrooms to 3 Bedrooms, with maid’s rooms provided in the 3 Bedroom units. Driver’s quarters will be situated at the basement level adjacent to the parking. Townhouse units will be placed along the canal promenade on the ground floor level, with direct views to the waterfront. The townhouses will consist of 3 Bedroom Units. In order to establish a separation between the townhouses and the parking, a courtyard is placed as a barrier between the general parking spaces and the townhouses and amenities. Residents have a transitional space before entering into their homes and the amenities block. The courtyard is open to above, allowing for natural light to stream through to the entrance of the units and recreation/gym space.
COMMERCIAL AND RETAIL
Commercial and retail spaces will be assigned along the canal promenade on the basement level, and partially throughout the ground level. A link is created between ‘Retail Street” and the retail promenade that goes through the site. Commercial spaces are placed adjacent to the retail street to continue the connection of the site to the neighboring plots and development.
TYPICAL PLANS
There are 2 typical plans, which impact the overall tower form. One typical plan extends to 75m, and the smaller typical plan, which is the primary part of the tower, extends to 68m. Both typical plans consist of 2 Bedroom and 2 Bedroom units at either end of the plans, with 1 Bedroom, 2 Bedroom, and studio units in the center. Residents have varying views to the canal, sea, and neighboring parks and plots.
